I watched this TED talk a while ago, and its one that I think of most days. (Or at least, most days that I use a paper towel.)
But yesterday, I learnt an important lesson to do with washing hands, shaking them dry, and wedding rings. Despite the fact that my wedding ring is generally quite a tight fit, I learnt that shaking my hands when wet can be enough force to send it flying off.
Luckily on a "down stroke" rather than an "up stroke", so it hit the ground by my feet, rather than flying off into a toilet… But the incident reminded me to share the video here.
